by Kip Grey

This has become a bit of a running gag between my mother and I, though she didn't quite seem to get the gag part when I told her about this comic. If I happen to mention anything between 1976 and 1994, she will sigh and lament over her (gasp!) imperfect parenting skills. I think if ever I met a person capable of raising their children with absolute perfection, I would turn and run in the other direction. It's a frightening thought, really.
